Chandigarh/ Haryana – Haryana Director General of Police (DGP), Sh. Manoj Yadava has extended greetings to the people of the State, all ranks of Haryana Police and their family members on the occasion of New Year.
In a message issued here today, Sh. Yadava extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the citizens and expressed hope that the positivity, hard work and creativity people have brought up in them during the hard times of the pandemic year would definitely help them bring peace, prosperity and happiness in the coming year 2021.
The DGP also thanked all ranks of Haryana Police who contributed though their untiring work during the emergency duties put in place for handling Covid-19. Their sincere hard work and devotion in maintaining law and order and peace has resulted in instilling a sense of safety and security amongst the citizens across the state. He also expressed his heartfelt tribute to those brave martyrs in the police who gave up their life while serving the people during the pandemic phase and lockdown.
While describing the tagline of ‘Safety Security Cooperation’, DGP Yadava instructed all the ranks of Haryana Police to perform their duty with utmost sincerity and dedication so that people could enter into a New Year in a joyful and peaceful manner. He also sought cooperation from the citizens to ensure a safe and peaceful entry into 2021.
Listing his priorities for the coming year 2021, the DGP said that Haryana Police will focus on introducing new technologies for further strengthening the professional policing. He also expressed the hope that all ranks of Haryana Police would further bring a positive change in their behaviour to make better connection with the public. This will also help in strengthening the police-public-relations in the society, besides a positive public perception with respect to the competence and commitment of the State police force, he added.
